The Ambriola Company, a specialty cheese importer and processor based in North Jersey, has issued a voluntary recall for grated cheese after routine testing discovered listeria in select products.
The recall covers multiple brands processed at the company’s West Caldwell facility, including Locatelli, Boar’s Head and Member’s Mark. The recall is nationwide but local stores have also sounded the alarm. Wegmans Food Markets has identified specific products sold at its Hanover and Montvale stores for recall and is urging customers to check their refrigerators.
