BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A mild, mainly dry Saturday is in store, but good rain chances make a return beginning tomorrow.

TODAY’S FORECAST

After a chilly morning start, temperatures warm into the low 70s this afternoon under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Areas should stay mainly dry, but a light sprinkle can’t be ruled out this morning in southern Mississippi. A stray shower is also possible late tonight as the next weather system approaches from the west.

BAYOU CLASSIC FORECAST

Expect a mild and dry afternoon in New Orleans for the Bayou Classic.

SUNDAY RAIN

The next good rain chances move in overnight and through Sunday morning. Most of the activity will be moderate rain, occasionally heavy, with an isolated thunderstorm possible.
