PINETOP, AZ- The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the homicide that occurred on November 20, 2025, in the area of Bruin Way and Branding Iron Loop. This is still an active and ongoing investigation. The area is safe and open to the public, and there is no current threat to the community. The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office is being supported by numerous law enforcement agencies throughout this investigation.

Deputies responded at approximately 9:20 PM on November 20, 2025, and confirmed the victim as 59-year-old Kerri Ann Abatti of Pinetop, Arizona, who died from a gunshot wound. At this time, no suspect information is available, and no additional updates are available for release.
