When Tate Carroll left Newnan after graduating from Northgate High School in 2018, he did not expect to return home leading one of the region’s fastest-rising defense-tech startups.

But today, the 25-year-old Air Force veteran and former NSA contractor is the CTO and co-founder of Prometheus Intelligence, a Newnan-based AI company currently raising a multi-million dollar Series A round to expand its military and commercial applications.

The company is developing AI-powered investigative interview tools for the Department of Defense, including use by the Army and Navy.
