CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Nine people were transported to the hospital following a south Charlotte crash, Medic confirmed.

The crash happened Saturday morning on I-485, near the Pineville-Matthews road exit around 8:30 a.m.

Medic said nine people were hospitalized. Eight suffered minor injuries and one sustained serious injuries.
