Emergency services were called to Hammersmith Underground Station in London

An emergency incident brought a busy London underground station to a standstill. Emergency crews rushed to Hammersmith Underground Station in London following reports of a casualty on the track.

Eyewitnesses reported that access to the station was blocked and services on the District Line were delayed. Images from the scene depict emergency services, including ambulances, fire engines, police and two Incident Response Units, congregating outside the station after the incident on Saturday morning.
