GARRISON, N.D. — An 88-year-old man died Friday, Nov. 28, in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 37 and Highway 83, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 4:55 p.m. when a 2007 Toyota Camry traveling east on Highway 37 stopped at the intersection, then entered the intersection as a southbound Hyundai Santa Cruz approached. The Santa Cruz struck the Camry on the driver's side, the release said.
The Santa Cruz came to rest on the highway, and the Camry came to rest in the east ditch.
The driver of the Santa Cruz, a 32-year-old Tioga woman, was injured and taken to CHI St. Alexius Health in Garrison. She was wearing a seat belt.
