Brother Martin found whatever way it could to get the ball into the hands of five-star wideout Easton Royal this season.
Whenever it did, the junior was a threat to get to the end zone, which had many of the top college football programs in the country wanting him to come to their school.
On Saturday, the five-star rated Royal announced his commitment to the University of Texas — roughly one year ahead of when he can officially sign as part of the 2027 recruiting class.
Rivals was first to report the commitment, and Royal reposted the report on social media and wrote, “Why not Texas?!!”
The Rivals report said Royal attended the Texas win against Texas A&M on Friday. He also visited the University of Oregon in November.
