Four years have now passed since Morgan Whittaker left Derby County but the Rams fans have clearly not forgotten about the forward, who was subject to jeers from the away end when he first touched the ball.

Whittaker had the last laugh to give Kim Hellberg lift-off.

It was from the opposite side of the pitch that the forward curled in Boro’s brilliant winner six minutes from time but he immediately charged towards the away end and cupped his ears in celebration.
