Three men have been charged following an attack which left a man with facial injuries at by a group of men at a hotel used to house asylum seekers near Aberdeen . Emergency services raced to the Hampton by Hilton Hotel in Westhill yesterday morning following reports of an assault .
A 26-year-old man received facial injuries following an alleged assault. The extent of the injuries were not confirmed and it is unknown if he was taken to hospital .
Three men have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident which took place at around 10.45am. Police have confirmed that a weapon was recovered from the scene and have reassured the public that the incident has been "contained".
