Lando Norris' disqualification from the Las Vegas Grand Prix has done little to quell the McLaren driver's world title reality. The Briton, alongside team-mate Oscar Piastri, were disqualified from last weekend's race in Sin City due to excessive skid block wear.

Norris initially finished second, behind race winner Max Verstappen and had increased his championship lead to 30 points. However, with both McLarens losing points, Norris' lead was cut to 24, with Verstappen and Piastri tied on 366.
