By its very nature, Dungeons & Dragons is always changing. From its various editions in the past to Unearthed Arcana playtests now, fans know to expect changes at some point. After D&D 2024 reworked 5e rules extensively, numerous classes and subclasses were altered, and that list just continues to grow. Now, the best class has gotten even better thanks to a new update.

Recently, D&D released new books focused on the Forgotten Realms, which included new subclasses , backgrounds, and feats. Now, nothing against Faerûn, but the Forgotten Realms have gotten a little played out. It's a great setting, but so are ones like Dragonlance and Eberron, which get little attention by comparison.
