In recent times, after poor performances and behind-the-scenes issues from Muhammad Mokaev to Chris Barnett, the UFC has released several fighters. Interestingly, Kron Gracie’s case was different. He wasn’t released; after he fought out his deal, the UFC simply didn’t re-sign him. And now, Gracie has finally opened up about the UFC not re-signing him after his loss to Bryce Mitchell.

Gracie thought fighting a top guy meant he would stick around win or lose, but pulling guard changed everything. The way he pulled guard and how the fight unfolded disappointed many fans.
