Legendary Oscar-winning screenwriter and playwright Sir Tom Stoppard has died aged 88 . The notice was confirmed by his agents in a statement.
Sir Tom, who won an Oscar for the screenplay for hit 1998 film Shakespeare in Love, died 'peacefully at home', according to United Agents. He is now survived by his wife Sabrina and his four children.
