A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 12:53 p.m. valid for Sunday between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie as well as Niagara, Orleans, Genesee and Wyoming counties.

The weather service describes, "Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," describes the weather service. "Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects."
