HOUSTON – A mother was facing charges after police allegedly found her intoxicated and asleep on the ground holding her 3-month-old baby.

Danielle Nicole Jensen, 36, is charged with endangering a child.

According to court documents, Jensen got extremely intoxicated on Thanksgiving and took her 3-month-old child outside just before midnight in 47-degree weather without adequate clothing.

Documents said Jensen fell asleep on the ground while holding him.

The baby was taken to the hospital and was in CPS custody.

Jensen was out on bond.

Her next court hearing was set for Monday.
