A busy street in the town centre of Paisley has been closed down by emergency services following a crash this afternoon.

The road traffic incident happened at around 12.10pm today, November 29, on Causeyside Street with the busy area closed between Gordon Street and Orchard Street.

The crash appears to have involved a car and motorcycle - it is unknown if there are any casualties.

Police were pictured at the scene following the crash, with motorists advised to 'avoid the area'.

Glasgow Live understands that the road remains closed at this time.
