The Los Angeles Rams officially activated cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon on Saturday and he will return to the field on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, as confirmed earlier in the week by head coach Sean McVay. Witherspoon has missed nine games with a broken scapula. Missing time is nothing new to Witherspoon, who has only been healthy for over 14 games once in his nine-year career, so that means returning to the field will be familiar to him too.
Witherspoon was one of a handful of moves this week, which also included bringing back cornerback Derion Kendrick after he was waived by the Seattle Seahawks.
