ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WILX) - No. 15 Michigan football trails No. 1 Ohio State 17-9 at halftime in “The Game” at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
Michigan got the ball first and kicked a 45-yard field goal on its opening drive. The Wolverines then settled for a 25-yard field goal and a 6-0 lead after getting an interception on Ohio State’s first drive.
The Buckeyes got a field goal to make it 6-3, then took a 10-6 lead in the early second quarter on a fourth-down 35-yard touchdown pass from Julian Sayin to Jeremiah Smith.
Michigan cut the lead to 10-9 on a 49-yard field goal, but Ohio State struck back with a four-yard touchdown pass from Sayin to Brandon Inniss just before halftime to make it 17-9.
