To the editor,
Consumers and taxpayers deserve protection against corrupt business practices and illegal monopolies on fuel prices. Cricket and ostrich responses from our government officials and media that brag about protecting us. They could not care less. If anyone is fortunate enough to get a response on email or telephone, their initial response is usually to state that they cannot help me and tell me what they do not do. My response is normally, "What do you do besides tell people what you do not do?"
