CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — A new analysis from mental-health providers shows seasonal depression is expected to peak in the Charlottesville area toward the end of November.
Researchers at Thriveworks, a mental-health company based in Charlottesville, examined online search trends and weather data to determine when people are most likely to experience symptoms. The study found a 125% increase in Google searches related to seasonal depression as fall approached.
