Denver officially snapped its snowless streak at 224 days, the fourth longest such stretch on record, giving the city its second latest first snow ever (Dec. 10, 2021).

Denver International Airport, the city's weather station of record, logged 0.2 inches to put the first measurable snow of the season in the books.

The high country saw more significant snow, with a couple of mountain passes seeing double-digits and many locations getting six inches or more. Denver7 is also tracking the impact on Colorado's ski resorts that were thirsty for some fresh powder after a slow start to the skiing and riding season.
