A Sarnia police pickup truck was already loaded down an hour or two into Saturday morning during the second day of this year’s Cram A Cruiser toy drive for the Inn of the Good Shepherd.
Volunteers with the police service and the Inn were set up in Lambton Mall again where this year’s drive began Friday.

“People have been very generous,” said Const. Nick McLean who led this year’s toy drive.
“We filled up the truck” and “actually had to empty it a bit” and store some donated toys in another police vehicle before the end of the day Friday, he said.
Donors were able to check a list of toy suggestions from the Inn of the Good Shepherd before shopping, but all donations of new toys were accepted to “make sure every kid has an awesome Christmas,” he said.
