After two seasons that earned rave reviews from critics and viewers alike, Peacock announced it will not be bringing back “Poker Face.”
Despite the cancellation by Peacock, series creator Rian Johnson plans to find a new home, but with a major twist.
If the series does get picked up for a third season somewhere else, it would come with Peter Dinklage replacing Natasha Lyonne in the lead role of Charlie Cale, according to Deadline .
“Poker Face” debuted on Peacock in 2023 to critical acclaim. That first season was one of the streaming platform’s most-watched series and earned a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes .
Season 2 was a hit with critics as well, but ratings were down from the first season, according to Deadline. That, combined with production costs being steep, led to its cancellation,
