GRANITE BAY, Calif. —
One man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Granite Bay Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
At 8:29 a.m. CHP said officers responded to the wreck involving a Ford Mustang and a Chevrolet Tahoe on Eureka Road near Farschon Place.
CHP said the driver of the Mustang, a man out of Granite Bay, was killed in the collision. The Roseville woman behind the wheel of the Tahoe was taken to the hospital and likely suffered moderate injuries, said CHP.
It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Eureka Road was closed for several hours. CHP has asked drivers to avoid the area while the investigation is underway.
