Syracuse, N.Y. — Freshman wide receiver Darius Johnson will miss Saturday’s game against Boston College. He was left off Saturday’s ACC availability report and has played in four games this season, suggesting the Orange will use his redshirt.
Johnson missed the first seven games of this season with a fractured fibula.
Syracuse will also be without redshirt senior Justus Ross-Simmons. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury since Syracuse’s Oct. 4 loss at No. 21 Southern Methodist. Ross-Simmons was also left off the availability report.
Freshman wide receiver Julian McFadden, who had been ruled out for the season with a broken collarbone, is dressed and warming up.
