Encouraging injury news has arrived for the Boston Celtics ahead of their Saturday night battle against the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road.
There were worries that as many as three Celtics starters would be ruled out in Minnesota: Jaylen Brown (back spasms), Derrick White (calf), and Neemias Queta (ankle).
However, an injury report update from the team published just before 2 p.m. ET on Saturday upgraded White to available and Queta to probable.
Brown’s status is something to watch, especially as he hasn’t missed a game yet this season for the Celtics. He’s averaging 28.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 18 games for Boston, worthy of top-10 MVP candidacy.
White also hasn’t missed a game yet this year, averaging 16.0 points, 5.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds, while Queta has
