Everton suffered a 4-1 defeat at Hill Dickinson Stadium to a Newcastle United side previously without a Premier League away win all season.

The Blues found themselves behind just a minute into the contest when Malick Thiaw headed in from a corner while Lewis Miley doubled the Magpies’ advantage on 25 minutes when Jordan Pickford seemed to take his eye off his shot while the visitors extended their lead in first half stoppage time with a cool, lobbed finish by Nick Woltemade.
