BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two children have been found dead following a house fire that engulfed a home on French Street in Buffalo on Saturday morning.

According to a spokesperson from the Buffalo Fire Department, firefighters responded to a house located at 69 French St. for reports of a fire with people trapped inside at around 5 a.m. Saturday.

When fire crews arrived, they found that the fire had already engulfed the first and second floors of the home. After extinguishing the fire two children, ages two and ten, were found dead inside the home. Seven people were rescued and taken to local hospitals.
