It was quite a sight on a recent ScotRail service to Glasgow Central as customers were sat with a cheeky magpie who had joined along for the ride.
The crow, spotted on the 9.05am Cathcart to Glasgow Central service on Friday, November 28, was pictured by a customer calmly perched on top of a seat.
The bird appeared to be 'winging it' according to ScotRail, who said fare evasion is "nothing to crow about". And of course, the post made online received a few cracking comments...our personal favourite being: "Must of thought it was off beak".
Locals took to the comments, one said: "Lucky it could get a seat", another added: "One for sorrow. Two for Joy. Three for a girl and one for Milngavie."
We hope the little one made it back to the leafy southside after a trip to the big city!
