GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A 37-year-old Grand Rapids man has been charged for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.

Donte Marcel Holts was arrested by The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, according to a Tuesday, Nov. 25 MSP news release .

Holts was arraigned in the 61st District Court on Saturday, November 22.

Holts allegedly viewed child sexually abusive material on the internet, police said, prompting an investigation.

Digital evidence was seized in the investigation, police said, and Holts was arrested.

He is also facing two counts of possession of firearms and ammunition by a prohibited person.
