COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - As we say goodbye to Thanksgiving and say hello to the winter and Christmas season, a Colorado Springs dance company will be performing a holiday classic, “The Nutcracker.”

Rachael’s School of Dance’s performance hits the stage on Saturday, 4 p.m., at the Ent Center for the Arts.

The artistic director, Rachael Aragon, says the timeless classic, where dancing brings the story to life, is all about tradition and bringing family and friends together.

“I’ve done it every year, almost, since I was a three-year-old, and it’s something that gathers your family around,” Aragon said.
