Robert Scott, a 25-year-old Akron man, will serve up to 13½ years in prison for his complicity in the 2020 shooting death of 8-year-old MiKayla Pickett.

Summit County Prosecutors do not believe Scott fired the shot that killed MiKayla. Still, police said he was one of several people who opened fire at a party at a home along Roselle Avenue in Akron.
