From April, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants will see their benefits increase by 3.8 per cent. The daily living component of PIP will rise to £76.70 a week and £114.60 a week from April 2026. The mobility rate will also see an increase to £30.30 and £80 from April 2026. This means that claimants who are eligible for both rates could receive £194.60 a week - or £10,119 annually.

Both the daily living and mobility components of PIP can be claimed, with one or both being awarded depending on individual circumstances. Both parts can be paid at either a standard or enhanced rate, which is determined by how your condition impacts your ability to carry out certain act
