Brownstown Township — Police officers responding to a domestic violence run Friday encountered a barricaded gunman who they shot during the confrontation, officials said.
The incident happened at about 7:20 p.m. when Brownstown Police officers were dispatched to the 26000 block of Ingram, near Pennsylvania and Inkster, following a call reporting domestic violence.
"Upon arrival, officers spoke with the alleged victim and witnesses and confirmed that the suspect had barricaded himself inside the attached garage," Brownstown Police said in a Friday Facebook post.
