A shooting at a party in southern Pulaski County on Friday night left two men dead and another man injured, authorities said.

The Pulaski County sheriff's office received reports of gunshots at a private party in the 20500 block of Frazier Pike around 11:20 p.m., the sheriff's office said in a news release. The address is a little more than a mile north-northwest of the state prison at Wrightsville.

Deputies found two men dead at the scene, the release says. Another man was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

The release did not identify the victims, and no information about suspects had been announced Saturday afternoon. A sheriff's office spokesperson didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.
