The Digimon franchise is experiencing a bit of a renaissance at the moment. While video games like Digimon Story: Time Stranger have revitalized interest in the video game side, anime like Ghost Game have been met with critical acclaim. The anime's next entry, Digimon Beatbreak , had quite a bit of hype behind it, which is why it's so disappointing to see that hype completely fizzle upon release.
