GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Greene County residents who needed to call 911 this were temporarily routed to Madison County due to an unexpected outage on Saturday.

In a statement, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office said, “A sudden outage is currently affecting our services and all 911 calls are being temporarily rerouted to Madison County. The issue has been reported and a technician is en route to perform the necessary repairs.”
