HERRIN — Abby Jones and Jenna Waters combined for 46 points Saturday afternoon to lead the Vienna Eagles to a 62-47 win over the Benton Rangerettes to claim the Herrin Invitational championship.

Vienna (4-0) led 16-13 after one period and 26-22 at the half. Waters, named the tourney’s Most Valuable Player, picked up her third and fourth fouls in the second period, but was not pulled from the game by veteran head coach Rick Metcalf.
