A police incident halted traffic on the M5 in Gloucestershire this evening.

The incident left all traffic temporarily at a standstill on the Northbound carriageway.

The incident was affecting traffic at J11A A417 (Gloucester/Cirencester)

It was first reported on traffic monitoring site Inrix at 9:20pm. It read: "All traffic being temporarily held due to police incident on M5 Northbound at J11A A417 (Gloucester / Cirencester)
