UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — John Carroll dominated Randolph-Macon on both sides of the ball in the second round of the NCAA Division III football playoffs on Saturday. The convincing 35-6 victory set up a rematch of last year’s postseason matchup against Mount Union in Alliance next Saturday.

The stat line for the Randolph-Macon out of Ashland, Virginia, looked like when your kid brother picked up a copy of Madden for the first time. The Blue Streaks’ defense held the Yellow Jackets to just four first downs for the game on only 29 offensive snaps, which led to 33 rushing yards and 8 passing yards on three completions.
