ANN ARBOR, MI - Ann Arbor Police officers responded to a stabbing that occurred shortly after 4 p.m. today. in the Pioneer High School parking lot.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who had sustained injuries, as stated in the news release on Facebook.

He was transported by Huron Valley Ambulance to the University of Michigan Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition, police said.

Police said the suspect fled the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended by officers nearby. The incident is believed to be isolated, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The stabbing remains under active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available, police said.
