ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - An officer from the St. Joseph County Police Department was in his patrol vehicle responding to slide-offs, when another vehicle crashed into him on U.S. 31.

According to the St. Joseph County Police Department’s Facebook page , that officer was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured.

INDOT currently has plow trucks treating the area.
