ALAIEDON TWP, Mich. (WILX) - With snow expected in mid-Michigan as the Thanksgiving holiday weekend comes to a close, drivers are preparing for winter road conditions that can create dangerous situations from ice and packed snow.
Some drivers have already started thinking about changing their driving habits for the winter weather ahead.
Justin Manis, a Brighton resident who commutes to Warren, said he plans his vehicle choice based on weather conditions.
“If it’s going to snow, yeah. So, I live in Brighton, I work in Warren at the tech center, so I have a pretty decent commute. So, if it’s going to snow, I’ll take my truck. If it’s not snowing, I’ll take my gas saver civic,” Manis said.
