ELBERT COUNTY, Ga. —

The Elbert County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating a shooting Saturday.

Elbert County Emergency Services officials are working an incident in coordination with the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, Elbert County Coroner’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in the Pulliam Mill Road area of Dewy Rose.

Deputies said there was a shooting with three gunshot victims, but that there is no threat to the community.

Authorities said Pulliam Mill Road is currently closed at Saddler Road and Floyd Road. Residents who need to access the area should use alternative routes and follow posted detours.
