Longhorns score twice on the recruiting trail following Week 14 win

Following the Texas Longhorns ’ dramatic 27–17 victory over No. 3 Texas A&M Friday night in Austin, the Longhorns continued their successful weekend with a pair of off-the-field wins on Saturday.

The Longhorns secured multiple recruiting wins on Saturday.

First, head coach Steve Sarkisian landed his first commitment of the 2027 recruiting cycle Saturday morning, with blue-chip wide receiver announcing his decision to pick Texas over numerous Power 4 programs, including LSU, Ole Miss, Oregon, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.
