Crow football's thrilling run through the postseason ended just short of the program's first-ever state title.
The Class 1A No. 9 Cougars fell, 81-0, to No. 2 Harper Charter in the 6-man state championship game Saturday, Nov. 29 at Redmond High School. Crow finishes the year at 9-3.
This marked the school's second-ever appearance in a football state championship game and first since 1993.
The Hornets outgained the Cougars 623-9 in terms of total yardage.
Michael Parker led Crow with 21 yards on three receptions. Aiden DeLeon ran for 23 yards on 16 carries, including a long of 12 yards.
Harper's Madoxx Martinez went 4-for-6 passing for 206 yards and three touchdowns and Richard Joyce went 2-for-2 for 66 yards and a touchdown. Joyce, Isaac Walker, Cope Christensen and Ace Christensen
