The Auburn Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks are both in pursuit of their respective head coaches as the 2025 college football season comes to a close.
Auburn is looking for its next program leader following the dismissal of Hugh Freeze, and Arkansas is on the hunt after parting ways with Sam Pittman.
Dominoes are expected to fall in this year's college football coaching carousel sometime in the coming days. And when the dust settles on the highly publicized Lane Kiffin saga, Arkansas and Auburn could be left with similar interest in the remaining candidates.
According to ESPN college football insider Pete Thamel, Auburn and Arkansas could "intersect" in pursuit of USF head coach Alex Golesh.
