The big Belarusian’s two solid starts this week showed plenty of promise. He made a ton of stops when the Canucks needed him to make a big stop. He looked very much like an NHL goalie.

He’s already made nearly a whole goal saved above expected when playing five-on-five — that’s a statement about the quality of shots he’s facing, of course — and his five-on-five save percentage of 92.9, is exactly the same as Demko’s.
