The injury woes will not stop for the Vancouver Canucks.
Winger Conor Garland will not play on Saturday night against the Los Angeles Kings as he deals with an upper-body injury, head coach Adam Foote told reporters before puck drop.
Garland is still undergoing evaluation and there is no timeline on his return.
It’s unclear when the 29-year-old suffered the injury. He played 24:28 in Friday afternoon’s loss to the San Jose Sharks, registering an assist.
In 21 games this season, Garland has six goals and 15 points.
Second-year winger Jonathan Lekkerimaki, recalled from the AHL earlier Saturday, will take his place.
